An interesting village house, built approximately 160 years ago and typical of the area. It is deceptively spacious and provides a comfortable holiday home for a larger party or family.

Sleeps up to 6 comfortably - two double rooms, one twin bedded room. In addition, a cot and high chair are available.

Ground floor:  
Large lounge/dining room - ample seating, TV - English and French channels/DVD/CD, books, games and puzzles.
Large, well equipped kitchen with dish-washer, fridge-freezer and gas cooker, microwave and ample work surface and storage.
WC and washing facilities.
Utility area with washing machine and tumble drier, iron and board.
Upper floor:
The three bedrooms, each with ample wardrobe and other storage space.
Bathroom with double wash hand basins, bath and shower over - separate WC.
Heating: There are wall mounted or portable heaters in each room. Electricity is included in the tariff.

Access: there is a rise of only 10cms into the property and another rise of 5cms between the dining and lounge areas; there is a ground floor WC with width of 60cms. All bedrooms are on the first floor and the two staircases have turns in them.
Outside space:
Although the property has no garden immediately outside, guests will have access to a private area of the owners’ garden a few yards up the road. There is also a sitting area on the ridge behind the cottage, with extensive views over the vineyards and hills. Table, chairs and umbrella and gas barbecue are provided, stored in our garage there.
The Canal, lake and village picnic seats are also only yards from the cottage and a fresh water lake for water sports and summer restaurant/bar is 10 mins away by car.
No smoking: We request that guests do not smoke in either of our properties
No pets: We do not accommodate pets in either property.
